Shuttering and concrete hand wanted in Keokuk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Keokuk County, Iowa. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. What we are looking for: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Your main tasks: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
