Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Johnston County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred You will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; record output and downtime on the production sheet; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
