Great opportunity: foundry operative (Kano State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Kano Municipal, Kano State. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On a typical shift you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
