Refrigeration installation technician — City of Radford

Join our team: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in City of Radford, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
