Great opportunity: mechanical press operator (California)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Sutter County, California. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards You will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; record output and downtime on the production sheet. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
