Quality assurance assistant — Cumbria

Join our team: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Cumbria, England. You will work at a food processing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts Ideal candidate: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits We offer £2,250 per month plus benefits.
