Aluminium fitter — City of Belfast

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in City of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The job is at a busy aluminium fabrication workshop. You should have: • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles The role involves read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish; de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. £2,950 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
