Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Day-to-day duties: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
