System formwork carpenter • Woodbury County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Woodbury County, Iowa. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Your main tasks: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
