Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Desha County, Arkansas. You will be based at a roadside mobile fitting unit. What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer You will check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres.
