Turning centre operator wanted in Inverclyde

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Inverclyde, Scotland. The role involves: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer £3,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
