Argon welder wanted in City of Petersburg

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in City of Petersburg, Virginia. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day-to-day duties: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 6+ years on the tools preferred.
