Now hiring: we are hiring a shop floor worker in City of Winchester, Virginia. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Report machine faults and stoppages to the line supervisor • Pack finished goods into cartons and seal them • Record output figures and downtime on the production log • Read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Stack finished cartons onto pallets and shrink-wrap them • Keep the workstation clean and follow 5S housekeeping Ideal candidate: • Minimum matric / 10th pass preferred • Experience on a manufacturing or assembly line Overtime paid at a premium rate.
