Join our team: we are hiring a furniture maker in City of Manassas Park, Virginia. You will work at a shopfitting company. You will hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
