Requirements: • Own hand tools, torque wrench and multimeter • Good head for heights and comfortable on ladders and roofs • Basic electrical knowledge of DC and AC systems The role involves: • Read PV layout drawings and single-line diagrams on site • Mount racking rails and mounting brackets on roof trusses or ground-mount frames • Lay out panel strings to match the shading and layout plan • Label DC and AC circuits and complete the system handover pack • Run DC cabling from panels to combiner boxes and string inverters Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
