Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Full-time, day shift.
