Hoist operator — Tunica County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Tunica County, Mississippi. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day to day you will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
