Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG welder in St. Clair County, Alabama. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Full-time, day shift.
