Cnc production machinist — Midland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Midland County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Day to day you will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
