Great opportunity: tile mason (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile mason in Macoupin County, Illinois. The role involves cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas. What we are looking for: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
