Conventional mill operator — Beaufort County

Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Beaufort County, North Carolina. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Day to day you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
