Immediate opening: final inspection operator (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Jefferson County, New York. What we are looking for: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Your main tasks: • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools Overtime paid at a premium rate.
