Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Catawba County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
