On a typical shift you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Part-time with flexible hours.
