Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Furnas County, Nebraska. The role involves run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
