Safety inspector — Pierce County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Pierce County, North Dakota. You will be based on a high-rise building project. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Your main tasks: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task Full-time with occasional weekends.
