Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Day to day you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
