Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Zaki, Bauchi State. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
