Immediate opening: power float operator (Florida)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Gulf County, Florida. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Day to day you will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
