Urgent requirement: we are hiring a halal butcher in Wetzel County, West Virginia. The job is at a wholesale meat market. The role involves: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders You should have: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Rotating shifts.
