Urgent requirement: gas pipeline fitter (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Kent, England. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
