Restoration bricklayer wanted in Poweshiek County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Poweshiek County, Iowa. The job is on a new-build development. Day to day you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
