Foundry worker wanted in Grayson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Grayson County, Virginia. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
