Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Borough of Rochdale, England. The job is at a busy gas installation company. The role involves check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings Part-time with flexible hours.
