Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Montcalm County, Michigan. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
