Occupational health and safety officer — Bleckley County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Bleckley County, Georgia. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. On the job you will handle: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $10,250 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
