Great opportunity: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. Day to day you will fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
