Heavy equipment operator (dozer) — Upshur County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Upshur County, West Virginia. You will work at a busy earthworks site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Day to day you will backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
