Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Lapeer County, Michigan. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site The role involves: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels 1+ years on the tools preferred.
