Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Louisa County, Iowa. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. On a typical shift you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Full-time with occasional weekends.
