Bakery assistant wanted in Iberia Parish

Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Your main tasks: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Score the top of loaves before baking • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
