Great opportunity: gas pipeline fitter (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Taylor County, Kentucky. You will work in a gas distribution network. Day to day you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Driving licence for travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $25 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
