Food packing operative • San Juan County, New Mexico

Vacancy available: we are hiring a food packing operative in San Juan County, New Mexico. You will work in a cold-storage packing unit. Day to day you will strap and band pallets ready for loading; shrink-wrap trays and stretch-wrap finished pallets; count units and confirm the correct quantity per carton; inspect packs for leaks, dents or damaged seals; separate rejects and re-pack faulty units. Ideal candidate: • Able to follow health and safety procedures • Basic numeracy for counting and recording quantities • Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 kg At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
