Gang bricklayer • Beaufort County, North Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Beaufort County, North Carolina. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. On the job you will handle: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
