Gas metal arc welder — Blanco County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Blanco County, Texas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
