Elevator service technician • McCook County, South Dakota

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in McCook County, South Dakota. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Day-to-day duties: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
