Lifting rigger wanted in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, England. Day-to-day duties: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket We offer £2,600 per month plus benefits.
