Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Gregg County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust You should have: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to read and match factory paint codes 3+ years on the tools preferred.
