Machinist — Lagelu

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Lagelu, Oyo State. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams 1+ years on the tools preferred.
