Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Gregg County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Day-to-day duties: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience.
